Race for UCD02.MKII Sanderling by UCDs Club

for Individual sailors only

Tokyo → Cape Sunosaki
Starting deep inside Tokyo Bay, the Sanderling heads south on a journey from sheltered waters toward the open Pacific. The route follows the shape of the bay toward the Uraga Channel, where the surrounding land gradually narrows the passage before opening again toward the ocean. Cape Sunosaki marks the western side of the entrance to Tokyo Bay, a natural turning point between enclosed coastal sailing and the much broader waters of the Pacific.
