Si le départ reste fidèle à Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, haut lieu de la course au large, l’arrivée sera jugée pour la première fois à Lorient, autre port emblématique de la discipline. Ce choix stratégique offre des infrastructures adaptées à une flotte en pleine croissance et permet de rassembler l’ensemble des bateaux jusqu’à la remise des prix.
A nouveau qualificative pour la Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe, l’épreuve devrait attirer un plateau encore plus relevé, marqué par la présence de grandes unités.
