CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT TO KING HAAKON BAY

Cape Disappointment → King Haakon Bay
From the southernmost point of South Georgia, the Pipit turns north for the final passage back to King Haakon Bay. The route brings the boat once again along the exposed southern and western coastline before finishing in the same waters reached by the James Caird on 10 May 1916 — completing the four-part journey around South Georgia.
