Every boat has a purpose. This one was built to celebrate the UCDs Club and the community that has grown around it. More than a new boat, she is a tribute to the friendships, adventures, and countless miles shared by our captains. Above all, she was designed as a gift to the friends who made this little club what it is today. Inspired by traditional coastal working boats, she is a small world traveller, built for long voyages, quiet anchorages, and the simple pleasure of wandering. She carries a gaff rig with a mizzen mast, a retractable centerboard, lead ballast, a small diesel engine, and a warm, detailed interior designed to feel like a true home afloat. As long as it remains possible, every captain who completesevery major UCD challenge will receive this boat as a gift from the UCDs Club. She can be earned by completing: Narceja — Arambaré to Cristóvão Pereira (No GPS) Sterna — Any Migration Race or Challenge Albatroz — A Circumnavigation Race or Challenge Pipit — The Shackleton Challenge or Shackleton Race Sanderling — Any Frank Dye Northern Passage She will also be available for those who wish to support the project. Every purchase will contribute directly to funding a prize for every Wooden Globe Challenge finisher.
