IMOCA Open 60 Proto 2° mast rake, S foils Available as bundle of 9 IMOCA's with S,V and U foils and respectively 2, 4 and 6° of mast rake as per IMOCA Class Rule V3.0 2028 Rake and foils cannot be changed during the race after measurement took place. - Area rule as per Raimond Loewy - Hydraulic steering - Engine driven PTO Pump cants keel from 0° to the maximum of 38° in 7 seconds - Electric backup cant keel from 0° tp 38° in 30 sceonds - Gravity dump drops keel from 38° cant to 0° in 0.2 seconds - As Sailaway does not know gravity, canting speed from -38° to + 38° is set so canting side to side takes 8 seconds. - Selfrighting auto filling cant tanks as introduced with the Insulinde in 1927 - aerodynamically efficient kolderstok steering mechanic - Default IMOCA 60 one design mast, boom, keel and outriggers. Subsonic aerodynamics area rule applied to IMOCA 60 2025 cq 2028 Class Regulation.. At present undergoing tests and optimizations. Bundle of 9 available for 200 bubbles on request, will require 9 boat slots to have trained performance polars for each of the 9 versions of this boat. |
