The Muscadet is a very well known small French plywood keelboat by Philippe Harlé. Nearly 700 of them were built by the Aubin shipyard between 1963 and 1979. Although she is a coastal boat, the Muscadet is more offshore-oriented than other boats of the same size. As a cruising yacht, she is widely appreciated for its solidity, conviviality and family aspect, to the point of creating a dedicated association in 1987, the Association des propriétaires de Muscadet (Muscadet Owners' Association). Voted Sailboat of the Century by Voiles et Voiliers magazine, the Muscadet, despite its 60 years of age, remains a respected opponent in regattas. The boat is seaworthy and fully functional, but it is still under development. It is therefore likely to undergo minor modifications before completion. If you want to try this boat for free, simply join the APM sailing club and you will be given free access to Turquoise-JP3 (the club's Muscadet) to test it as much as you like. Profits from the sale of this boat are entirely donated to Richard Knol to help him develop the game. |
