NOAA grib files

The weather data is downloaded from NOAA every 6 hours. Sailaway uses the GFS, 6 hour prognosis and gradually changes the conditions towards those predictions

Adjustable conditions

You can now adjust to conditions freely. Whether you want to simulate a storm or gentle breeze. All internal parameters can be adjusted: clouds, wind, precipitation, temperature, waves, current.

Off course those adjustments are disabled when the boat is sailing in a race or another event.

Lightning

Rainstorms now come with thunder and lightning flashes.

Raindrops

Each rain drop is actually a tiny lens and displays a miniature picture of the world around. The raindrops will also stick to the camera lens to make the simulation more realistic
