Leading up we set up regular virtual test races in Sailaway the sail simulator, Saturdays and Sundays starting near low tide from the beach. This is the flex race, start at the time of your choosing. Any sailmode (even sunbathing), but only online. In Real Life wil take 4-5 hrs.
The virtual Round Texel was Sunday 2025-06-08 10:00 UTC and will return June neyt year.
ATTENTION: Start is of the beach in ca 0.20 cm of water
Contact race organizers if you wan to see your boat design / class included.The Round Texel is open to all open catamarans with a maximum length of 35 feet and a
maximum draught of 0.70 meter (excluding rudders, dagger boards and bowsprit) and
every catamaran has to be “beachable”.
