nThe Round The Cans 44 is an ultra light displacement high performance One Design sailing boat. rnrnThe Sailaway class organization will set up weekly races on Thursdays for the E 0, W 120 and E 120 latitude Venues will be as they come available. rnrnMatch Racing in a boat vs boat format as well as Team Racing in a 3 boats vs 3 boats format is encouraged. rnrnFor both formats a Windward Leeward course with a length of 0.8 NM is recommended rn3-4 legs should take no longer than 20 - 30 minutes.rnrnIn fleet races it is recommended to set a maximum nr of participants of 12 boats.rnrnProceeds in part will finance Organizing Authorities, Yacht Clubs, and World Editors that provide racing venues.rnrn- The Hague (NED)rn- Stavoren (NED)rn- Harlingen (NED)rn- Cascais (POR)rn- Malta Grand Harbour (MAL)rn- Dubrovnik (CRO)rn- Panama (PAN)rn- Sydney (AUS)rnetc.rnrnrnrnPlease ensure that the Racing Rules of Sailing are applied in all races.rnhttps://www.sailing.org/inside-world-sailing/rules-regulations/racingrules/ rnrnIf you want to set up races, conduct races or be of help anywhere .. rnrnPlease also report any issues you may find lines that don't work etc. rnrnKnown issuesrnrn- hardware cannot be attached to interactive parts as only a interactive part is listed for attachment ..presumably the first part installedrn- backstay can’t be pulled as multiple chained pulleys and forks be of the 2 speed kind as always one side of a line must be attached to a fastening (Deutsche Schotführung)rn- steering wheel spokes do not connectrn- boom kicker does not work in salt in veins mode rn- block and lines disconnect when moved until the line is activated.rn- hatch does not openrn- boat interior is on a to do listrnrnrnAll issues were reported and work on them is in progress. Updates are set to be published on the first Monday of the month. rnrnFeel free to request the creator for access to the prototype for testing. Improvements and fixes will be tested on prototype before transfer to the real live boat.r |
